NEW YORK, July 14, 2008 (AFP) - Ted Nolan will not return next season as coach of the New York Islanders, the National Hockey League team announced Monday.
Nolan, who had one year left on his contract, posted a 75-68-21 record in his two seasons as Islanders coach. New York made the playoffs in his first year but failed to do so last season.
